Hello. Allow me to tell you a little about myself. My name is Tom Thunderhorse. My tribal affiliations are with the Apache and Cherokee Nations. Believe it or not, I am half Apache and half Cherokee. Yes, I know, Indians are not supposed to  have beards or moustaches, but let me tell you, I had to work at it. I am the youngest of three siblings. My two oldeer siblings have gone on to their rewards, so I am the last of my family. Oh yes, I do have nephews and Nieces, but I am the last of my generation. In the place where I live, I am a recognised Medicine Man, or Spirit Doctor. When I was younger, I worked as a Merchant Seaman, (engineman), Truck Driver, owned my own paving company, Roof Tear off Company, and Towing Service.

When I was in the eighth Grade, my English Teacher, Anna Jung, told me that I should take up writing, but at an early age, I was restless, and like any teenage boy, I was too full of mischief to pay any attentuion to good sound advice.  It wasn't until after I  retired at the tender age of 50 years of age, due to  being legally blind. that I discovered computers and the internet. I would read what they now call e-BOOKS, and finally found myself inspired to try my hand at writing,

My first book, Father Francis, was orginally written as a screen play. At the time, I had a small studio calle "Western Diamondback Audio visual arts Studios". As I was thinking about how I was going to film the story, my lady friend, Dorothy Kral, suggested that I make it into a book. While I was on a trip to Las Vegas Nevada, I rewrote the script for books and submitted it to "PUBLISH AMERICA", a book publusher on the east coast. I was shocked when they accepted my book for ;print.

My second book, "Charlie Goodbear", is being printed by a company in Philadelphia Pa. called "XLIBRIS", The reason I chose "XLIBRIS" was because I needed help with editing, due to being legally blind. "Charlie Goodbear"  took me about three months to write, and my lady friend and her daughter helped my by editing what I had written. I opted into "XLIBRIS" because I wanted to be sure their editors would make sure things were done to their standards.

Charlie Goodbear is a hilarious book
about a drunken Indian who sits in a
churchyard, drinking wine from a bottle
and how little the towns people really
know about him

Father Francis is not a religious book, but a
delightfully spiritual book, and an esy read.

If you wish, you can see my earlier writings when I wrote poetry. These are excerpts from a book I wrote called "Voice of Many Waters. Unfortunately, the book is no longer in print, but I've manages to save some of my most cherished poetry. If you wish, please click on the rose to read some of my works.
